Terms and Conditions — ReceiptStacker
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the ReceiptStacker mobile application ("App"). By using the App, you agree to these Terms.
1. Use of the app
You may use the App for lawful personal or business record-keeping purposes. You agree not to misuse, reverse engineer (except as permitted by law), disrupt, or abuse the App.
2. User content and responsibility
You are responsible for the accuracy of data you enter, maintaining backups, securing your device/exported files, and compliance with tax/accounting/legal obligations in your jurisdiction.
ReceiptStacker does not provide legal, tax, or financial advice.
3. Local data model and backups
The App is designed as a local-first tool. Data is primarily stored on-device. Optional export/share/backup/restore features are initiated by you.
4. Accounts and third-party services
Some optional features may rely on third-party providers (for example cloud storage or identity providers). Your use of those services is subject to their terms.
5. Intellectual property
The App, including source code, trademarks, UI, and branding elements, is owned by the developer/licensor and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You receive a limited, non-exclusive, revocable, non-transferable license to use the App according to these Terms.
6. Disclaimers
The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
- The App may not be uninterrupted or error-free.
- Data loss may occur due to device, OS, or third-party failures.
- The App may not meet every specific accounting/reporting requirement.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill arising from use of the App.
8. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the developer from claims arising from misuse of the App, your content, or your violation of law or these Terms.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access where legally required or where there is misuse. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it.
10. Changes to the app and terms
We may update app features and these Terms. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance of revised Terms.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by applicable laws of the developer’s principal jurisdiction, excluding conflict-of-law rules, unless mandatory local consumer law requires otherwise.
